SWAN

It was my childhood dream to wear a tutu. ‘Dying Swan’ and ‘Swan Lake’ were my favorites. All I wanted was to be a ballerina, but when I auditioned for the St. Petersburg Ballet Academy they said that I have flat feet that are not suited for pointe shoes and my legs were too short.

That was the end of my dream. At that time I did not know that other kinds of dance existed. Now I can realize every dream I ever had.

This dance is about being drawn to your dream. It will never leave you alone. Even if your feet are flat you’ve got to live out your dream. You do it yourself.
